I’ve been typecast as a one-eyed French maid in a dark comic drama called The Lesson, about a professor who tries to teach a young student mathematics and linguistics with calamitous results. Written by Eugene Ionesco, who once said, “Living is abnormal.”
Need I say more?
The Lesson is playing in a double bill with Essay by Hannah Moscovitch, a clever satire about a teaching assistant who finds himself in a bind when trying to grade a student’s paper. Presented by Dandelion Theatre and Scrumpy Theatre.
